IN JESUS CHRIST, everything old is new again. For, St. Paul wrote to the Corinthians,
Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come. (2 Corinthians 5:17 ESV)
The ancient faith and practice of the Church becomes new for each generation as the Gospel of Jesus Christ is proclaimed and people are enfolded into the Body of Christ on earth: the Church. In a world where God’s Word is lost in the search for what is the latest trend, it is possible for even churches to fall prey to the gods of the culture. We believe that we need only to apply that which we have received to the present generation with grace and truth in the Person of Jesus Christ, according to the Scriptures. We would propose to do so humbly and joining arms with other churches in a community—a parish—where we say together: this is our home. This is our place of ministry. Because we can do more together.
A new traditional parish Presbyterian church is in phase one of development through the cooperation of Faith for Living and a local jurisdiction of a Bible-believing Presbyterian Church. Please read on about the vision and mission and stay tuned for further information about upcoming prayer meetings, informational meetings, and preaching and worship services in the South Charlotte area (I-485 and Providence Road-Weddington).
“Lord, through Your Son, our Savior, Jesus Christ, You have brought salvation to mankind and commissioned the Church to disciple the nations, one person at a time, into your family, the Church; thus, by Your call, Your guidance, and only in Your strength, we ask that You bless this effort towards the establishment of a “Golden Lampstand”—a local, parish community fellowship—ordered by Your ministers under the authority of Your Church, through the appointed means of preaching the Gospel, worshipping in Spirit and in Truth, and fulfilling Your mission in the world; asking that such effort may leave a witness to Jesus Christ through the generations, until Christ appears and we are all gathered safe in the arms of Jesus. We pray in Your holy name, Lord Jesus Christ. Amen.”
Mission: By God’s help we seek to establish a three-stream (Biblical, joyfully reverent, and missional) community—parish—church in the Presbyterian and Reformed tradition for the growing areas of South Charlotte in order to fulfill the Great Commission in our community—one life at a time, throughout the generations—so that a multitude of souls will be safe in the arms of Jesus when He comes again.

Faith, hope, love.
Trinity Chapel Charlotte is a mission of the Associate Reformed Presbyterian Church, a Bible-believing, evangelical and Reformed church that extends back to the founding of the USA, and looks forward to proclaiming the Gospel of Jesus Christ until He comes again.
