If I hear about “middle class,” “working class” or any class in America I’m going to get sick to my stomach. So, not liking Pepto Bismol I decided to write. The American Spectator ran with it.
So, I am sharing this newly published article in the “American Spectator,” a conservative journal, on the use of decidedly un-American phrases like “middle class,” and “working class.” I advocate for dispensing with these phrases that originate in modern times from the Communist Manifesto. All perspectives have started using them and doing so without any nefarious intent, I’m certain. However, the phrases have meanings at odds with our Republic and are ultimately corrosive to American unity. The Founding Fathers gave us one new class: “American.” I hope you can read it and share the essay with others. Thank you.
