What if there were a land of beginning again? There is. Indeed, that good land has been claimed by multitudes of life’s travelers: known and unknown, ancient and modern, and from every tongue and tribe; from Moses to Peter, from Saul of Tarsus to Augustine of Hippo, from John Newton to William Wilberforce, from C. S. Lewis to Billy Graham—and millions of others known only to their loved ones, and God. Gospel Transformation is the irrepressible, inevitable consequence of repentance and the transfer of trust from self (or any other) to Jesus Christ. Such transformation is God’s glorious promise that gives hope, confidence, and new life to the most broken person imaginable. There is a land of beginning again.
Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come.—2 Corinthians 5:17 ESV
