On the Passing of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II

On the Passing of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II

On the passing of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, we are bound to give thanks to God for such a remarkable life and legacy of a righteous ruler. Proverbs 29:2 expresses our hope for human government: —“When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice . . .” In the long and solemn rule of Elizabeth II, our hopes were given a vision of virtue.

Her over seventy years of service to the British people, and the Commonwealth of Nations, represents an unprecedented standard of Christian faithfulness, principled governance, and patriotic devotion. We may say with confidence that Her Majesty represented adoring English-speaking people around the world. Indeed, Her Majesty the Queen was rightly revered by people from every tongue and tribe. We pray for God’s blessing on King Charles III and the Realm he now serves. May Jesus Christ be glorified in the immediate days ahead as we pray God’s Word is proclaimed in any services following this historic event.

    Amen, amen!
Words of Grace as the Age of Grace is perhaps winding up.
    Thank you, sir.
