Ministry Roles

In 2020 we moved from Union County, North Carolina to Western North Carolina. Our retirement home is a quiet mountain retreat with frequent guests. The back porch is mighty nice.
  • President, Faith for Living, Inc., a 501(c)(3) North Carolina Nonprofit Corporation
  • President and Senior Fellow: D. James Kennedy Institute of Reformed Leadership
  • James Ragsdale Chair of Missions and Evangelism, Erskine Theological Seminary
  • Director, Chaplain Ministries, Erskine Theological Seminary
  • Chairman, Ministry Committee, Erskine Theological Seminary
  • Chaplain, Grace Mission, An Evangelistic and Pastoral Care Outreach
    • Under the auspices of the Presbyterian and Reformed Commission on Chaplains
      • Though retired from the Army Chaplaincy, I remain a member of the Retired Reserve. I seek to minister the Gospel to Veterans groups and military associations.
      • I am a member of
        • The American Legion
        • The Military Officers Association
        • The Sons of the Revolution
        • The St. George Society
        • The John Donne Society
        • The John Milton Society (USA)
        • The Disabled Veterans of America
        • I was awarded the Order of the Longleaf Pine by the Governor of North Carolina in 2018—a nominative award by one of our US Senators recognizing public service to the State—, making me an ambassador for the TarHeel State. The pay is low ($00.00) for such a high-sounding title. Quite seriously, the State has shown kindness to one of her citizens, It is is a tremendous joy to promote our state as I can. That is an easy gig, because “the Old North State” is our home, and the charms of her people, history, culture, and distinguished contributions to America are many.

Retired Roles

Mae and Mike Milton | Retirement from US Army Chaplain service, Fort Jackson, South Carolina. With kind greetings, the Legion of Merit Award, and family and friends, we said our goodbyes to a great ministry that I commend to others. This was also a change of command. My last role was Command Chaplain, US Military Intelligence Readiness Command, Fort Belvoir, VA. Thanks to Mae for three decades of being the finest Army wife a man could ever imagine.
