New Ministry Minutes Released: “The Essential Three Movements in Pastoral Counseling.”

On this episode of Ministry Minutes with Mike Milton we discussed the three essential movements that are used in the pastoral counseling session. Each of the three movements is explained and their relationship to each other is discussed. The presentation is made with pastors in mind. We teach with a commitment to the cure of souls through Word, Sacrament, and Prayer. Attention is also given to differential counseling between the physical and the spiritual, and the wisdom of referral for (the several kinds of) physical manifestations of spiritual pathologies of the human soul.
