A case came to me recently that I suppose is afflicting some of you. So, here is Dr. Milton’s prescription for spiritual pathologies due to overexposure of television news:
“Some put their trust in chariots, and some in horses, but we put our trust in the Name of the Lord our God. They are brought down and fallen, but we will arise and stand upright.”
Psalm 20:7, 8 ESV
Directions: Read and ingest this and other Scripture in the morning and night, with prayer. The tender membrane of the human soul will be strengthened to repel the Infectuous effects of the arrogant folly of foolish men. Rest, dear saint, in the power of the Cross. Come, O doubter, and be saved from yourself and the acid-rain lies of this present evil age. Life is infinitely more satisfying when living in the light of immutable promises of the King of Kings and Lord of Lords.
Full Disclosure
[I am not an M.D., or a D.O. I hold a PhD in Theology, focused on the assessment, diagnosis and treatment of various diseases of the human soul. I was trained by a professor named “Aunt Eva” who read the Bible to me every day from birth to graduation from school. I am a filthy sinner saved by the grace of God in Christ that I once blasphemed. Thus, I carry a Bible as my guide, dispense the Sacraments as a cure, and am a lifelong student in the school of prayer.]
TAKE AND BE HEALED.

How wonderful to hear from my beloved buddy and brother Dan Smith. We love you buddy. Thank you for your comment. Yes we do love it up here in Tryon. It’s just beautiful. We’ve got a room waiting for you and your bride whenever you want to come up. You can have your own sweet with kitchen and you never even have to see me. That’s a pretty good deal!
