There are newly-gifted mornings when you walk outside, feel the sensation of fresh mountain rain, breathe the first chilled air of a coming season, and pause to worship the Lord of all, Jesus the Christ; joining the busily chirping finches and wrens, in a heavenly chorus; while Holy Scripture demands silence of competing voices, but delights in the praise of poor sinners and songbirds:
“But the LORD is in his holy temple; let all the earth keep silence before him” (Habakkuk 2:20).
