We are delighted to announce that the book, Songs in the Night: How God Transforms Our Pain to Praise, is completing production to become an audiobook distributed by Audible. The dramatic reader, Ms. Brenda Davis, has completed her work. The producer is, now, working to complete the project.
I am attaching a sample chapter from the recording to this post. I want you to be able to hear the incredible work of Ms. Davis and the quality of the recording. I want you to also consider this upcoming release as a ministry opportunity to share with another.
“Cathy,” a physician, who read the book, wrote,
I first got a copy of this book from a patient of mine who was a retired pastor. I sat and read the first chapter before I ever pulled away from the house. Pain is so much a part of life, yet when you see it from the author’s perspective, it’s a little easier to get up in the morning. I had lent my copy to someone and never got it back. It’s one of those books that I never want to be without.
Amazon Reviews
I am not sure there is any book (except the Holy Bible) that deserves to “never be without.” Perhaps, though, the reviewer’s generous comment refers to the power of God’s Word that is at work in a man’s word (and in Brenda’s reading). If so, then, this could be a resource to share the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ with another person.
The Lord is opening up new “Roman Roads.” This is one more. Our prayer for this new version of the book (the print version was kindly released by P&R Publishing) is that souls will be saved, lives transformed, and the Kingdom of Christ be brought to those who wait to sing a doxology in the darkness.
Here is the actress, Brenda Davis, reading, Songs in the Night, Chapter Five, on “Hannah’s Faith:”
