The Word of God not only prophesied Jesus’ coming at Bethlehem. The Bible tells us that He is coming again. The verses that follow speak not only of prophecy but of His incomparable Person given to His people. Our Lord Jesus came to bring healing to you. He came to bring comfort, hope and meaning to life.
These passages are not each about prophecy. But each is about the meaning of the Person of Jesus our Lord for your life. May these passages be of blessing to you and your family now and always.
An Advent Prayer (from the Book of Common Prayer)
Stir up thy power, O Lord,
and with great might come among us;
and, because we are sorely hindered by our sins,
let thy bountiful grace and mercy speedily help and deliver us;
through Jesus Christ our Lord,
to whom, with thee and the Holy Ghost,
be honor and glory, world without end.
