One of the greatest days in my life was the day that my New Testament professor, Dr. George W. Knight III, called on me to stand and read John 1:1 in the original language chosen by the Holy Spirit. That singular breakthrough in my academic career ushered in a lifetime of study in the Word of God that allowed me to exegete and exposit the Word of the living God. That lesson brought about ministry for congregations throughout America as a pastor and for Soldiers and Families as an Army Reserve Chaplain, as well as for countless people as I preached as an evangelist in North America, Great Britain, the European continent, and in the subcontinent of India. My studies in seminary and my internship under Dr. D. James Kennedy caused me to seek that which my noted mentor challenged: “the finest scholarship for the sake of the dignity of the pulpit and the high calling of your vocation.”

Logos Bible Software has been an invaluable partner to me in seeking to fulfill this noble challenge and this sacred calling. I was first introduced to Logos by the U.S. Army Chaplaincy Corps a number of years ago. I was always impressed by their attention to scholarship, as well as their focus on ease of application. When Logos 6.0 came out I thought I had seen the best. But, now comes 7.0. Logos 7.0 introduces a new generation of Bible, theology and religious studies scholarship resources. There is a cornucopia of new and improved Biblical and scholarly capabilities, as well as significant application improvements, to make your study more profitable.
As one who supervises PhD dissertations, prepares sermons, develops graduate courses in theological and Biblical studies, and researches out-of-print periodicals (that Logos has available) for my own writing of books and commentaries I can tell you that Logos is indispensable. Logos 7 just adds power to the engine. As an educator I am on a faculty team that is advocating to have every student in our seminary (and college) to get Logos 7 when they enter our classes. That is how much we believe in this product.
So, whether you are a pastor, professor, seminary student, or a serious student of the Word of God (and Christian and religious studies literature) in any other vocation, I believe you should consider Logos 7. Those who order through our site will receive a considerable discount.
