This issue focuses on the Chaplain in War: Past, Present, and Future.  The Authors featured include Dr. Eric Patterson, Dean of the School of Government at Regent University and Chaplain (Col.) Mark Nordstrom, an Anglican minister and the Training Director of the U.S. Army Chaplain Center and School. We are also thankful for the fine article by Dr. James Fisher (Ph.D., Southern Baptist Seminary). Chaplain (Major) Fisher writes on “Chaplain Wellness,” a tremendous article of insight that is helpful for all clergy.

It was my pleasure to join these and others to write on “The Future of the Chaplaincy in the U.S. Armed Forces.”

We trust the reflections and ideas in the Journal will stimulate further dialogue and professionalism in the U.S. Army and sister-service Chaplain Corps.
