I am reminded of Rabbi Abraham Joshua Heschel’s work on The Prophets. He said that the prophets felt things much deeper than others. They were offended for God’s sake more easily. They were, therefore, like Bounds—or, Bounds like the Prophets—burdened men.
Oh to be so in love with the glory of Jesus Christ that you are burdened in your mortal soul should anyone miss the joy of worshipping Him.
Oh let me be so burdened.
