Faith for Living – New TV Program with Dr. Michael Milton
(CHARLOTTE, NC.) December 2010 — Faith for Living, a new Bible study series with Dr. Mike Milton, the chancellor/CEO elect of Reformed Theological Seminary, will air on the NRB Network each week on Direct TV channel 378 on Mondays at 8:30am, Thursdays at 3:30am, and Fridays at 7:30am, beginning January 3rd. For 2011, the series is titled “A Doxology in the Darkness: How God Transforms our Pain into Praise.” Dr. Milton invites you to tune in by TV, radio or online to learn about what could also rightly be called a Christian response to suffering.
The Faith for Living radio program currently airs on WHVN, 1240 AM and 104.3 FM, in Charlotte, NC at 10:00am and 9:30pm on Sundays. It also airs in several areas of South Florida: In the Broward, Miami-Dade, Palm Beach, FL area, it airs on WAFG-FM 90.3 at 7:30pm, on Sundays. In the Key West area, it airs on WKZG-FM 88.3 in Key West and WKGZ 106.9 in Marathon, FL on Sundays at 7:30pm. Dr. Michael A. Milton has been the president of RTS/Charlotte and the James M. Baird Jr. professor of pastoral theology since 2007 and has recently been elected chancellor/CEO of Reformed Theological Seminary. He was previously the pastor of First Presbyterian Church in Chattanooga, TN for six years, has planted two churches and founded Westminster Academy Christian School in Overland Park, KS. He has also served as the interim president and adjunct professor in practical theology at Knox Theological Seminary. Dr. Milton served 16 years in the business world (Dow Chemical and Ashland Chemical) and was also a top secret Navy linguist (Albanian) and currently holds a commission in the U.S. Army Reserves as a chaplain teaching regularly at the Chaplains School.
Dr. Milton has authored 10 books and recorded three albums. His latest book, Doxology in the Darkness: How God Transforms Our Pain to Praise (P&R) is due to be released in September, 2011.
