Dear Dr. Milton,
thank You for your beautiful songs of "Throug the Open Door", that I found on the iTunes Store. It's very good to read the lyrics that I found on your site. Could you send me all the lyrics of the other album, "He shall Restore"? I received from you the lyrics of "Faithful and True" some years ago, I would like to have the lyrics of the entire album if possible. Thank You for your inspiring music!

Dr. Milton,
I wish we back here at RTS in Charlotte could view the film on Christian history that you describe in Lesson 3! I am enjoying the updates.

2LT Van Sloten

Thank you so much! I do pray the Lord will bless and encourage you as you go through this time. I will always remember my time in Chaplain basic and cherish the memories.

May this help to prepare you to declare the unsearchable riches of Christ to our flock in ACUs!

Yours in Christ,

Mike Milton

Dear Mike,

Thanks for the post on Calvin (the comment box doesn't seem to be working?). I have really enjoyed a number of your "The Call" sermons that I download off iTunes.

Regarding Calvin I decided to take 2009 to read and blog my way through the Institutes. It had been sitting on my self for a long time and I thought the 500th anniversary was the perfect time to take up the challenge. So, I am well into Book 3 and really loving the experience. I'm currently reading the chapter on prayer and blogging on justification by faith. You'd be welcome to stop by my blog:

Every blessing in your ministry.

Wow!
I googled "when christians hurt other christians" and stumbled upon your site. 'Wish we lived close enough to join your church! Thank you for your well chosen words to remind, encourage and admonish. God bless you.

Dear Mike,
First, I'm sorry I didn't send our congratulations on your inauguration there at RTS Charlotte when we got the announcement. Please accept our belated best wishes as you serve our Lord there.

Reading that John Guest delivered the sermon brought back memories for me. He took his position at the Sewickly church when I was at Geneva College many moons ago. He spoke frequently at the college and some of us would go down to hear him. (It was rare and cool to see an orthodox younger long haired pastor in those days) A sermon that made a huge impression on me dealt with worship which he incorporated with the English idea of worthship. I remember him saying we Americans lacked an understanding of a sovereign monarch who, by merely having the position of king, deserved and expected the fealty of his people. How much more so of our Holy, Righteous, Sovereign God. He went on to challenge us on what attitude we brought to worship and who was the focus of worship. Themes that are so pertinent in light of today's expectation of entertainment and lack of reverence within the modern day church.

So, it was great to see your connection to him at your installation.

Blessings to you, May and John Michael. Bob
